Open Position: Software Engineer – Monza / Hybrid

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer for a contract in Monza, with hybrid work possibilities. The figure will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions in a Linux environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of applications in a Linux environment
• Programming with major application languages (C, C++, Python, Java, etc.)
• Software design and product lifecycle management
• Collaboration with cross-functional and international teams

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of Linux, Unix and OOP programming
• Experience in back-end development and agile methodologies
• Corporate network management, server configuration and IT infrastructure
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of Unix/Linux operating systems
• Relational and non-relational database management
• Information security and systems hardening skills
• Communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluent written and spoken English to collaborate with developers in the USA
• Availability for monthly or annual travel to the USA headquarters in Chicago
• All travel, accommodation and transfer expenses are fully covered by the company
